In a virtual summit organized by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, youth representatives from nine countries participated and openly praised Uttar Pradesh's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' plantation campaign. District Magistrate of Baghpat, Asmita Lal, noted that Aman Kumar from Baghpat, who represented Uttar Pradesh in the virtual summit, spoke about the state's large-scale plantation drive, which youth from other countries found inspiring. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had previously honored Kumar with the Swami Vivekananda Youth Award.
