Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with École Centrale de Nantes during the Bharat Innovates event in Nice, France. This agreement aims to foster international academic collaboration and cultural exchange between the two institutions.
Key Areas of Collaboration
The MoU outlines several key areas of cooperation, including the exchange of faculty members, joint academic activities, and student exchange programs. Both institutes will also collaborate on joint research projects, seeking funding from private or government sponsors to establish multi-institutional partnerships.
Academic Initiatives
The partnership will facilitate participation in seminars, exchange of academic materials, and creation of short-term academic programs such as summer research initiatives. Additionally, the institutions will work together on study abroad programs, as well as joint and dual degree programs.
Professor Rajiv Prakash, Director of IIT Bhilai, and Linda Sérandour, International Partnership Manager at École Centrale de Nantes, exchanged the MoU. The collaboration is expected to strengthen global academic engagement and advance international cooperation in education and research.
