PUDUCHERRY: IndiGo Airlines will introduce additional flight services between Puducherry and Bengaluru starting May 1, in addition to the existing flight, said Airports Authority of India director (Puducherry) K Rajasekhar Reddy.
Currently, the route is served by a single flight. With this expansion, passengers will enjoy greater flexibility, convenience, and improved options for both business and leisure travel, said the director.
According to the schedule, the new flights will operate daily. The flight will depart from Bengaluru at 10:10 am and arrive at Puducherry at 11:15 am. It will then depart from Puducherry at 11:35 am to reach Bengaluru at 12:15 pm. Another flight will depart Puducherry at 2:00 pm to reach Bengaluru at 3:15 pm, and the return will depart Bengaluru at 4:00 pm to arrive in Puducherry at 5:10 pm.
This expansion is expected to boost air connectivity for the region, providing travelers with more options and timing flexibility. The additional services aim to cater to increasing demand on this route.
