The quake, which occurred at 3:38 PM IST on June 15, 2026, had its epicenter located 164 kilometers (102 miles) southeast of Governor Generoso in Davao Oriental province. Phivolcs reported that the earthquake had a depth of 86 kilometers and that no damage is anticipated.
