Hubballi: South Central Railway has announced the introduction of three pairs of new weekly express train services connecting Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Charlapalli with Belagavi, significantly enhancing rail connectivity between Karnataka and Telangana.
Hyderabad-Belagavi Weekly Express
Train No. 17071 Hyderabad-Belagavi Weekly Express will commence service from Hyderabad on May 21, departing every Thursday at 16:30 hrs and arriving at Belagavi at 10:30 hrs the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 17072 Belagavi-Hyderabad Weekly Express will start from Belagavi on May 15, departing every Friday at 13:00 hrs and reaching Hyderabad at 07:00 hrs the following day. This train will feature 22 LHB coaches, including one AC first class coach, three AC 2-tier coaches, four AC 3-tier coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, one pantry car, four general second class coaches, one luggage-cum-brake van with Divyangjan-friendly compartment, and one luggage-cum-generator car and brake van.
Secunderabad-Belagavi Weekly Express
Train No. 17073 Secunderabad-Belagavi Weekly Express will commence service from Secunderabad on May 18, departing every Monday at 16:30 hrs and arriving at Belagavi at 10:30 hrs the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 17074 Belagavi-Secunderabad Weekly Express will start from Belagavi on May 19, departing every Tuesday at 13:00 hrs and reaching Secunderabad at 07:15 hrs the following day. This train will consist of 22 LHB coaches, including two AC 2-tier coaches, seven AC 3-tier coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches, one luggage-cum-brake van with Divyangjan-friendly compartment, and one luggage-cum-generator car and brake van.
Charlapalli-Belagavi Weekly Express
Train No. 17075 Charlapalli-Belagavi Weekly Express will commence service from Charlapalli on May 16, departing every Saturday at 16:00 hrs and arriving at Belagavi at 10:30 hrs on Sunday. In the return direction, Train No. 17076 Belagavi-Charlapalli Weekly Express will start from Belagavi on May 17, departing every Sunday at 13:00 hrs and reaching Charlapalli at 08:45 hrs on Monday. This train will comprise 24 ICF coaches, including three AC 2-tier coaches, five AC 3-tier coaches, ten sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches, and two second class luggage-cum-brake vans.
Stoppages
All three pairs of trains will halt at Begumpet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Ballari, Daroji, Toranagallu, Hosapete, Koppal, Gadag, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, and Khanapur stations in both directions. Additionally, Train No. 17075/17076 will also have a stoppage at Secunderabad.
