A team from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar has brought laurels to the country by winning a bronze medal at the Moscow International Engineering Championship. The winning team comprised four students from the Mechanical Engineering department: Ankit Kumar, Arpit Sharma, Priyanka Gupta, and Rohan Singh. They were guided by faculty mentors Dr. S. K. Sharma and Dr. R. K. Gupta. The team presented a project on 'Design and Fabrication of a Solar-Powered Water Purification System' which impressed the judges with its innovation and practical applicability.
