Light to moderate rain is expected to persist in several parts of Himachal Pradesh on Monday, as the State Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for seven districts. The alert covers Kullu, Kangra, Una, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kinnaur, and Lahaul and Spiti, where isolated light to moderate rainfall is likely throughout the day. In contrast, the rest of the state is predicted to experience largely dry weather conditions.
Temperature Trends
Minimum temperatures across the state are forecast to remain near normal, with no significant change expected. The recorded minimum temperatures include: Shimla 15°C, Dharamshala 16.8°C, Solan 16.4°C, Kangra 20.1°C, Mandi 16°C, Sundernagar 18.5°C, Kufri 11.6°C, Kalpa 8.6°C, Una 18°C, Nahan 18.9°C, Chamba 18.2°C, Paonta Sahib 24°C, and Bhuntar 15.2°C.
Coldest Spot
Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 4.4°C, making it the coldest place in Himachal Pradesh on Monday.
