The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved the four-laning of the Nagaur-Bikaner section of National Highway 62 (NH-62), with an estimated cost of Rs 1,359.33 crore. This project, sanctioned under the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) toll model, is designed to enhance road connectivity in western Rajasthan, thereby stimulating investment, employment, industrial growth, and tourism in the region.
