Tourist's Risky Move Leads to Attack
As reported by CNN, the local Forestry and Grassland Bureau detailed that the skier spotted the snow leopard while returning to their hotel. Rather than remaining safely inside their vehicle, the tourist exited and approached the animal to capture photographs. This provocative action triggered the snow leopard to attack, resulting in a dangerous situation.
Social Media Videos Capture the Harrowing Scene
Videos circulating on social media depict the aftermath of the attack. In one clip, the tourist is seen lying motionless in the snow with the snow leopard positioned nearby. Another video shows bystanders assisting the individual to stand and move to safety while they hold their face under a ski helmet. An anxious voice inquires, “Is it gone?” to which someone responds, “It’s gone.” Additional footage reveals the snow leopard ambling through a snowy landscape dotted with trees and rocks.
Tourist in Stable Condition After Hospitalization
