A Turkish Airlines aircraft's tyres caught fire while landing at Tribhuvan International Airport early on Monday, prompting an emergency response and evacuation. Police confirmed that all passengers and crew members were safely rescued. The flight, operating from Istanbul to Kathmandu, caught fire in its right-side tyres during landing. According to airport officials, the aircraft was carrying 278 passengers and 11 crew members, including several United Nations officials.
