Mumbai: In a move to ease passenger congestion and manage the extra rush expected during June, Western Railway has announced the operation of a nonstop superfast special train on special fare between Bandra Terminus and Jaipur. The train will provide a direct and swift connection between the two cities, catering to the increased demand during the month.
Train Schedule and Dates
The special service, designated as Train No. 09708 Bandra Terminus-Jaipur Special, will depart from Bandra Terminus every Thursday at 3:50 PM and arrive at Jaipur at 8:45 AM the following day. The train will operate on June 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2026.
In the return direction, Train No. 09707 Jaipur-Bandra Terminus Special will leave Jaipur every Wednesday at 7:40 PM and reach Bandra Terminus at 2:15 PM the next day. This service is scheduled to run on June 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2026. Combined, the two services will complete a total of eight trips during the month.
Coach Composition and Booking Details
The rake of the special train will include a variety of coach classes to suit different passenger preferences: First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, AC 3-Tier (Economy), and Sleeper Class. This ensures that travelers have multiple options ranging from luxury to budget-friendly accommodation.
Bookings for Train No. 09708 will open on May 31 at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and on the IRCTC website. Passengers are advised to book early to secure their seats, as the train is expected to be in high demand.
