These conditions are expected to cause minimum temperatures to fall further by up to 4 degrees Celsius. The influence of recent western disturbances, which had previously moderated the cold, has now ended, paving the way for a more intense drop in night-time mercury levels.

Lunkaransar in the Bikaner division recorded the lowest temperature at 4.7°C, signaling the early onset of severe cold. In contrast, the state capital, Jaipur, experienced a comparatively milder night with a minimum temperature of 14.8°C, which was notably 3.7°C above the normal for this time of year.
