Drawing Competition Held in Ganjam for World Environment Day
Ganjam Drawing Competition Marks World Environment Day

Berhampur: Around 550 school and college students across Ganjam district participated in a drawing competition on Wednesday, organized by the Odisha State Pollution Control Board's (SPCB) Berhampur regional office as part of World Environment Day celebrations on June 5.

Competition Categories and Themes

The event was conducted in three categories with themes focusing on environmental conservation and climate action. For students from Class I to IV, the theme was "Save Nature, Save Tomorrow". Those in Class V to VIII worked on "Renewable Energy: Power of the Future". For students from Class IX onwards, the theme was "Inspired by Nature: For Climate, For Our Future".

Participation and Recognition

All participants received certificates of participation. The competition aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues among young students. The Odisha SPCB continues to promote such initiatives to encourage climate action and sustainability.
