The India Meteorological Department's Aizawl Meteorological Centre commemorated Earth Day on Wednesday through a series of activities dedicated to environmental sustainability, as confirmed in an official press statement from the IMD Aizawl. The comprehensive programme was strategically designed to elevate public consciousness regarding climate change, environmental conservation, and the critical necessity for collective action to safeguard our planet.
Plantation Drives and Awareness Sessions Highlight Event

Keynote Address by Meteorological Centre Head
Addressing the assembled gathering, Sudheer Kumar Dwivedi, Head of the Aizawl Meteorological Centre, delivered a compelling speech urging for the judicious use of electricity and other energy sources.
