Iran's High Command Warns UAE Over Territorial Aggression
Iran's highest operational military command has issued a stark warning to the United Arab Emirates, cautioning against the use of Emirati soil for launching attacks on Iranian territories in the Persian Gulf. The statement, released by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, underscores escalating tensions in the region.
Military Threats and Regional Implications
Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, emphasized Iran's readiness to retaliate forcefully. "We warn the United Arab Emirates that if any further aggression originates from its territory against the Iranian islands of Abu Musa and Greater Tunb in the Persian Gulf, Iran's powerful Armed Forces will subject Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE to heavy and crushing strikes," he declared. This warning follows Iran's ongoing Operation True Promise 4, a retaliatory campaign against perceived US-Israeli actions.
Iran claims to have targeted key American military facilities across multiple countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan. The operation highlights the broader geopolitical strife involving regional powers and international actors.
Diplomatic Warnings and Escalating Conflicts
Earlier, Iran's Foreign Minister Syed Abbas Araghchi reinforced the nation's stance on social media, stating that Iran would show "Zero restraint" if its infrastructure were attacked. He referenced intelligence on Israeli plans, asserting, "Only when attacked do we powerfully respond." This rhetoric aligns with Iran's historical posture of defensive retaliation in regional disputes.
In response, the UAE Ministry of Defence reported engaging numerous Iranian projectiles, detailing that since the onset of aggression, UAE air defences have intercepted:
- 338 ballistic missiles
- 15 cruise missiles
- 1,740 UAVs
The attacks have resulted in casualties, including two UAE armed forces members and six foreign nationals, with 158 injuries reported. The ministry affirmed its preparedness to protect national sovereignty and stability.

Simultaneously, Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced the execution of the 70th wave of Operation True Promise 4, targeting over 55 locations occupied by US and Israeli forces.
