Iran's IRGC Escalates Military Campaign with 57th Wave of Strikes

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iran has launched the 57th phase of its military operation, codenamed Operation True Promise 4, targeting strategic locations in what it describes as occupied territories and a key US air installation in Qatar. According to reports from Iranian state broadcaster Press TV, this latest offensive is part of Tehran's ongoing response to the conflict that began on February 28, 2026.

Targets and Tactics in Occupied Territories

In the occupied territories, Iranian forces focused on neutralizing command and control communication networks and missile defense arrays. The IRGC employed precision strikes using advanced missile systems, including the Kheibar Shekan, Emad, and Qadr, to disrupt the operational capabilities of the occupation regime. These actions aimed to cripple coordination and military functions, with Press TV confirming that the objectives were successfully met.

Strikes on US Bases in the Gulf Region

Simultaneously, the IRGC conducted a successful assault on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, a central hub for US Central Command operations. The attack utilized explosive drones, along with Zolfaghar and Qiam missiles, to target the facility. In a separate engagement, the IRGC Navy executed a joint missile and drone attack on hangars housing American fighter aircraft at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and Al Dhafra Air Base in the UAE.

Iranian officials emphasized that Al Dhafra Air Base was specifically targeted as it served as the launch point for recent strikes against Iranian islands. The IRGC claims that the operational capacity of this base has been severely reduced following the bombardment.

Motivation and Dedication of the Strikes

The military action was dedicated to Mojtaba, a three-day-old infant who was killed earlier today alongside his family during recent hostilities. Citing a statement from the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Press TV reported that the child died in his mother's arms, highlighting the human cost of the ongoing conflict.

Iran's Stance and Future Threats

The IRGC has vowed to maintain military pressure, stating that these strikes will continue until the complete evacuation and destruction of American terrorist bases. They issued a warning urging the Muslim people of the region to stay away from these installations. Iran maintains that these retaliatory actions constitute legitimate self-defense under international law, with the IRGC claiming to have launched approximately 700 missiles and 3,600 drones at US and Zionist military assets since the war's commencement, while avoiding civilian infrastructure.

This escalation follows the death of former Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and thousands of others, including victims of the Minab school tragedy where about 170 young girls lost their lives. The conflict continues to intensify, with regional tensions reaching new heights as Iran asserts its military capabilities in response to perceived aggressions.
