However, a gradual rise is expected thereafter, with the maximum temperature potentially reaching 29 to 30 degrees Celsius by the weekend. Impact of Western Disturbance on Regional Weather

Currently, a western disturbance is passing through north-western India. Meteorological officials have clarified that this weather system will not affect the Kolkata region. "While western disturbances typically do not have a direct impact in our area, they often hinder or slow down the north-westerly winds. However, this particular disturbance is not powerful enough to influence the wind systems reaching us," Biswas added, ensuring that local weather conditions will remain unaffected by this phenomenon.
