Residents of Lucknow should prepare for a spell of warmer weather as the city is expected to experience clear skies and sunny conditions in the coming days. According to officials from the Meteorological Department, daytime temperatures are projected to increase by two to three degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures may also rise by one or two degrees.

On Monday, Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 26.4 degrees Celsius, which was 1.6 degrees above the normal average for this time of year. The minimum temperature settled at 10 degrees Celsius. This upward trend is set to continue, with meteorologists attributing the change to specific atmospheric conditions.
Senior scientist Mohammad Danish from the state Met department explained the forecast in detail. "Since no fresh western disturbance is expected this week, we anticipate clear skies with no rainfall. The rise in daytime temperatures is primarily due to the dominance of easterly winds," he stated.

Danish further elaborated that daytime temperatures are expected to climb to around 27 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures may reach up to 12 degrees. However, he noted that this warming phase is temporary. "Temperatures are likely to fall back to normal levels after two days due to a possible change in wind patterns," he added, indicating a brief period of elevated warmth.
For Tuesday, the forecast predicts clear skies throughout the day, with mist likely during the night and into the morning hours. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 26 degrees Celsius, and the minimum around 10 degrees Celsius.
