Weather Forecast and Yellow Alert

The meteorological department has issued a yellow alert for Ludhiana specifically for Thursday and Friday. This alert cautions residents about possible thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong surface winds during these days.

For Tuesday and Wednesday, the forecast predicts partly cloudy skies. Officials explained that the yellow alert serves to keep relevant departments updated about the expected inclement weather conditions later in the week.

Temperature Projections

According to the Met department website, daytime temperatures are expected to rise to 26 degrees Celsius on Tuesday before dipping again to 23 degrees Celsius by Friday. Nighttime temperatures are projected to fall to 10 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, rise to 15 degrees Celsius by Thursday, and then drop to 13 degrees Celsius by Saturday.

Resident Experiences

The windy conditions and temperature drop created a distinct chill that residents noticed immediately. Manoj Kumar, a city resident, shared his observations, noting that just days earlier, the weather felt warm enough to resemble the beginning of harsh summer. He expressed surprise at the sudden temperature fall but added that despite the slight cold, he was thoroughly enjoying the pleasant weather conditions in the city.

The meteorological department continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as the weather pattern develops throughout the week.
