Frustrated by prolonged civic apathy and unchecked dumping, citizens came together to reclaim a neglected natural stretch along Amrai Road, also known as Old Airport Road, located behind Sonegaon Lake.

The massive cleanliness drive was organized and led by the Vrikshit Foundation, a local environmental group dedicated to preserving natural spaces.
