New Delhi: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for a firing incident outside the residence of Gurpartap Kang, manager of singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, in Karnal's Gonder area. In a social media post, gang associates Tyson Bishnoi, Aarzoo Bishnoi, and Hari Boxer stated that the attack was carried out using weapons manufactured in Austria.
Warning, Not Extortion
The gang emphasized that the shooting was intended as a warning and was not motivated by extortion or financial gain. They alleged that an employee associated with Dosanjh had been exploiting women. Specifically, they claimed that a woman from Punjab was harassed and later abandoned during a recent tour of Australia.
Multiple Complaints Against Band Employee
The post further alleged that the gang had received several other complaints from women reporting similar obscene conduct linked to the singer's band. According to the statement, two earlier warnings had already been sent to Dosanjh and his managers, Sonali and Gurpartap, urging them to distance themselves from the accused employee.
Third Warning and Restraint
Describing the firing as a "third warning," the gang said it was showing restraint for the time being because Dosanjh represents the country internationally. However, they warned of more serious action if their demands continue to be ignored.
The statement concluded with a threat to "expose the accused" and to enter the homes of those who continue to support him. Authorities are investigating the incident and the claims made by the gang.
