Boat Capsizes in Yamuna River in Hamirpur, 3 Rescued

A boat capsizing incident occurred in the Yamuna River under the Kurara police station area of Hamirpur district. The DIG of Chitrakoot Range conducted a spot inspection of the site. During the inspection, ongoing relief and rescue operations were reviewed, and necessary directions were given to the officials present.

Rescue Operations Initiated Immediately

Upon receiving information, the Superintendent of Police (City) and Kurara police force promptly reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. With the assistance of the SDRF team, Flood PAC, and local divers, three persons who had drowned were safely rescued. They were taken to the community health center for treatment.

Coordinated Efforts by Authorities

The DIG Chitrakoot Range personally monitored the rescue efforts. The Hamirpur Police coordinated with multiple agencies to ensure swift action. The rescued individuals are reported to be in stable condition. Further investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident.
