The talks will address several critical issues concerning the India-Bangladesh border.
Key Agenda Items
The discussions will focus on preventing assaults on BSF personnel and Indian civilians by Bangladeshi nationals, curbing trans-border crimes, and addressing the entry of Bangladeshi criminals into Indian territory. Other important topics include incidents of fence breaching by Bangladeshi nationals, construction of border fences, and actions against Indian Insurgent Groups (IIGs) operating from Bangladesh.
Delegation Leaders
The BSF delegation will be led by its Director General, Praveen Kumar. The BGB delegation will be represented by its Director General, Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui. Both leaders are expected to engage in comprehensive discussions to enhance border security and cooperation.
