Iran Missile Strike on US Base Injures 5, Destroys Reapers

Iranian missiles wreaked havoc on a Kuwaiti airbase even as Donald Trump considers a deal to extend a fragile ceasefire. According to media reports, Kuwaiti air defence intercepted Iran's Fateh-110 missile, but the falling debris struck the Ali Al Salem air base. At least five Americans were injured, with the Iranian missiles destroying one MQ-9 Reaper drone, and seriously damaging another unmanned aerial vehicle. Developed by General Atomics, the Reapers cost $30 million each. The strikes were carried out by Iran as Washington considers a deal to extend the truce. Trump said in a social media post on Friday that he was ready to make a “final determination” on a preliminary agreement.
