Trump Confirms Iranian Missile Attack on US Navy, Calls for Deal

US President Donald Trump spoke on the latest attacks on Iran. During a visit to see renovations of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, Trump was asked if the Iran ceasefire was still on despite the attacks. He responded: 'Yeah it is. They trifled with us today. We blew them away. They trifled. I call that a trifle.'

Negotiations Ongoing

Trump also told reporters that the US is negotiating with Iran. He added that the three US Navy destroyers that transited out of the Strait of Hormuz were not damaged, but 'great damage was done to Iranian attackers.'

Truth Social Post

Earlier on Truth Social, Trump wrote that the US attacked Iranian seacraft that fired at US Navy ships. 'A normal country would have allowed these destroyers to pass, but Iran is not a normal country. They are led by LUNATICS, and if they had the chance to use a nuclear weapon, they would do it, without question,' he wrote.
