Immediately after the incident, the injured soldiers were evacuated from the site and rushed to the Army's 92 Base Hospital at Badamibagh in Srinagar for medical treatment. Despite the efforts of medical staff, both soldiers succumbed to their injuries due to the severity of the wounds.
