Khamenei Demands Legal Action Over US-Israeli 'Crimes'

Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has called for pursuing legal cases in both domestic and international courts against American and Israeli leaders, citing what he described as 'crimes' against Iran, including an attack on a school in Minab. In a series of posts on X, Khamenei condemned US and Israeli officials for boasting about their actions, which he said amounted to an admission of guilt.

Khamenei's Statement on X

Speaking during Iran's National Week of the Judiciary, Khamenei wrote: 'The confessions and even brazen boasting of some of the leaders of the US-Zionist enemy regarding these crimes, are indisputably an admission of crime, and these effectively pave the way for the vindication of the [Iranian] nation's rights that have been violated.' He specifically recalled the deaths of schoolgirls in Minab and urged legal action.

Khamenei further stated: 'Physical & psychological damages inflicted on each individual of the Iranian nation in the 2nd & 3rd Imposed Wars, from child killings & war crimes in Minab & Lamerd to attacks on medical centres, is each a legal file that must be pursued in both domestic & international courts... From murdering newborns to our dear elderly population - & above all, the martyrdom of the peerless, unique gem of our era, our magnanimous, mujahid Leader - is each a file among thousands of major legal cases that must be earnestly pursued in domestic & international courts.'

Iran's Foreign Ministry Condemns US Airstrikes

In a related development, Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned American airstrikes on Sunday targeting several monitoring and surveillance facilities on Iran's southern coast. The ministry described the strikes as 'a clear violation of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter and also a blatant violation of the first paragraph of the ceasefire agreement dated June 18, 2026.' The statement added that the attacks show 'the American regime places no value or credibility on its own commitments.'

US and IRGC Military Actions

US President Donald Trump stated on Saturday that the US struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, as well as coastal radar sites, in response to alleged ceasefire violations. Trump threatened to 'wipe out Iran' if violations continued. US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed additional strikes against multiple military targets in Iran under Trump's direction.

In retaliation, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed on Sunday that it had destroyed eight US military infrastructures in Kuwait and Bahrain in a joint missile and drone operation. The IRGC described the strikes as a 'decisive response' to recent US aggression.
