A tragic incident occurred in Munich on Saturday when two freight trains collided, resulting in one fatality. The collision caused two train carriages to plunge from a bridge onto a street below, according to Reuters.

The cause of the collision remains unknown as authorities continue their investigation, a police spokesperson in the southern German city told Reuters.
Emergency services were alerted at approximately 1:40 a.m. local time in Munich's northern district of Milbertshofen. Around 60 first responders were dispatched to the scene, a fire department spokesperson confirmed.
