A devastating mass shooting in Newark, New Jersey has left a community in mourning after two people, including a young child, were killed and three others injured in a violent incident that has shaken the city.
Tragedy on Chancellor Avenue
The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 15 on Chancellor Avenue in Newark. According to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, the violence claimed the lives of two innocent victims: a 21-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy.
Three additional victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment. The injured include an 11-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man, and a 60-year-old man. Medical officials confirmed that all three survivors are currently in stable condition.
