American conservative influencer Nick Sortor faced a frightening robbery in Minneapolis on Sunday. According to his social media posts, a group of Somali men allegedly attacked him in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.

Sortor described the incident in vivid detail. He claimed the attackers stole his expensive camera worth $1,000. They also dragged him down the sidewalk during the confrontation.
"They then dragged me down the street as my hand got trapped in their door handle," Sortor wrote while sharing a video of the incident. He expressed frustration that nobody came to help him during the ordeal.
FBI Response and Investigation
The Federal Bureau of Investigation quickly responded to the reported crime. "We're on it," the FBI stated regarding the incident. Sortor confirmed that federal authorities have taken up the case and an investigation is currently underway.
In a post on X, Sortor emphasized the FBI's involvement in the probe. He declared he would not "surrender to these thugs" and thanked FBI chief Kash Patel along with the FBI Rapid Response Team for their attention to his case.
