RBI Office Attendant Result 2026: Key Updates
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is expected to announce the much-awaited Office Attendant Result 2026 by the end of June 2026. Thousands of candidates who appeared for the computer-based examination conducted on February 28 and March 1, 2026, are eagerly waiting for the selection list. The central bank aims to fill 572 vacancies through this recruitment drive to strengthen administrative support across its regional offices.
The evaluation process is in its final stages, and officials are preparing to publish the merit list online. The result will be released as a consolidated PDF document containing the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next phase. Individual scorecards and category-wise cut-offs will also be made available on the official portal shortly after the qualifying list is published.
Steps to Download the RBI Office Attendant Result 2026
Candidates who appeared for the online examination can follow these steps to check and download their results:
- Official Portal: Visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India at rbi.org.in.
- Opportunities Link: Scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click on the "Opportunities@RBI" tab.
- Current Vacancies: Expand the main navigation menu and select "Current Vacancies," then click on "Results."
- Select Notification: Click on the link titled "Result of Online Exam for Recruitment of Office Attendant - 2026 Panel Year."
- Search Roll Number: Open the downloaded PDF, press Ctrl + F, and enter your exact roll number to check your status.
- Save Copy: Print or securely save a digital copy of the merit list for future reference.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT) Requirement
Clearing the online exam is only the first step. Candidates must also pass the compulsory Language Proficiency Test (LPT) to secure final appointment. The LPT assesses fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the official regional language of the state from which the candidate applied. This test is purely qualifying in nature, meaning no marks are added to the final score, but failure to pass results in automatic disqualification.
Expected Cut-off Trends and Document Verification
The RBI will release final cut-offs based on regional requirements and candidate categories. Given the high competition for 572 positions, experts predict a slightly higher cut-off compared to previous recruitment cycles. Shortlisted candidates who clear both the online exam and LPT will receive call letters for document verification. They must present original educational certificates and age proof for final deployment.
