Six new companies have been allotted office space in the Central Facility Building (CFB) at Mihan, a move expected to accelerate the growth of the IT sector in Nagpur and create fresh employment opportunities for local youth.
Infrastructure Expansion in Mihan SEZ
As part of ongoing efforts to attract industries to the Mihan Special Economic Zone (SEZ), infrastructure is being continuously expanded and strengthened. Under this initiative, office space in the CFB has been allocated to companies based on their business requirements. The firms operate in diverse sectors, including software development, ERP modules, cloud computing, logistics support, and the refurbishment of electronic equipment.
Details of Allotted Companies
Watchwitz Technologies Pvt Ltd
Watchwitz Technologies Pvt Ltd has been allotted 529 sqft of space. The company will focus on the import, storage, reconditioning and international export of precision industrial machinery.
AIDE Services
AIDE Services, an IT company, has been allocated 220 sqft. It will work in software and application development, educational content for children, global trading and business consulting services.
Click2Cloud Technology Services
Click2Cloud Technology Services, a well-known IT company, has received the largest allocation of 1,124 sqft. The company will provide high-end technology services, including ERP, CRM, SAP solutions, cloud computing and web portal development.
US Enterprises
US Enterprises has been allotted 429 sqft and will primarily offer warehousing, logistics and back-office support services for international buyers.
Siddharth Logistics Company Pvt Ltd
Siddharth Logistics Company Pvt Ltd has also been allocated 429 sqft. The company will provide packaging, loading and unloading, machinery handling and other ancillary services to units operating within the SEZ.
Microtech
Microtech has received 573 sqft of space. The company specialises in re-engineering and refurbishment of electronic goods, IT equipment, and telecom hardware.
Employment and Economic Impact
In total, six companies have been allotted 3,304 sqft of office space. The move is expected to generate approximately 55 to 70 direct jobs in the initial phase. Officials said the presence of logistics and packaging firms will provide strong local back-end support to several large companies already operating in MIHAN. Microtech's operations are also expected to promote modern services such as electronic waste management and refurbishment in Nagpur.
The fresh investments from the MSME sector are expected to further strengthen Nagpur's position as a leading commercial and industrial hub in Central India.
