Chandigarh University's top rank in International Research Network reflects its robust research ecosystem. Students and faculty have authored over 24,000 research publications and filed more than 6,000 patents, with 5,800 published and 260 granted. In 2024-25 alone, 743 patents were filed, 770 published, and 49 granted. CU has over 560 international research network scholars, and 44 faculty members were featured among the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University–Elsevier.
