Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition: Pricing and Key Features
Citroen has introduced the Aircross Comfort Edition in India at a starting price of Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant adds premium cabin upgrades, making it more attractive for buyers seeking a comfortable and feature-rich compact SUV.
What's New in the Comfort Edition?
The Comfort Edition comes with leatherette seats, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a new diamond-cut alloy wheel design. It also gets a rear parking camera with guidelines and a cooled glovebox. The cabin features a dual-tone black and grey theme with contrast stitching.
According to Citroen, the Comfort Edition is based on the Feel variant and is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version uses a 1.2-liter turbocharged unit producing 110 PS and 190 Nm, while the diesel is a 1.5-liter unit with 110 PS and 300 Nm. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual for petrol and a 6-speed manual for diesel.
Market Positioning and Competition
The Aircross Comfort Edition is priced competitively against rivals like the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. Citroen aims to attract buyers with the added comfort features at a reasonable premium over the standard variant. The company expects the new edition to boost sales in the compact SUV segment.
Citroen India has been expanding its lineup with locally produced models, and the Aircross is one of its key offerings. The Comfort Edition is available at all dealerships across India starting today.
