The remaining infrastructure work is expected to be finalized soon, with the entire water supply system scheduled to become operational by the end of March 2026. This development will enable consistent water supply to the project site, addressing a critical requirement for pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Substantial Investment in Infrastructure
The ongoing infrastructure works for the Bulk Drug Park represent a significant financial commitment, with current projects valued at more than Rs 200 crore. This substantial investment underscores the state government's commitment to developing robust industrial infrastructure that can support pharmaceutical manufacturing and related industries in the region.
The Bulk Drug Park initiative in Una district forms part of Himachal Pradesh's broader strategy to strengthen its pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities and create employment opportunities while boosting economic development in the region.
