The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the re-evaluation portal for Class 12 students after a significant delay. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can now apply for re-checking of their answer sheets online. The process is straightforward and can be completed through the official CBSE website.

How to Apply for CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation

Follow these steps to submit your application:

  1. Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
  2. Click on the 'Re-evaluation' link under the 'Results' section.
  3. Enter your roll number, school number, and date of birth to log in.
  4. Select the subjects for which you want re-evaluation.
  5. Pay the required fee online through debit/credit card or net banking.
  6. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

Important Details

The re-evaluation process involves re-checking of answer sheets for any marking errors. The fee per subject is Rs. 500. The last date to apply is June 15, 2025. Results of re-evaluation will be announced within 30 days of application.

Note: Only those students who have scored below 80% in a subject are eligible to apply for re-evaluation. The decision of the re-evaluation committee will be final.

Students are advised to apply only if they have genuine concerns about their marks. The CBSE has also clarified that there will be no re-evaluation for practical exams or internal assessments.
