CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Rechecking, Compartment Dates Out

After the declaration of the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026, students who are not satisfied with their obtained marks can apply for post-result facilities. The Central Board of Secondary Education has clarified that the entire process will be conducted online and is strictly time-bound. According to the official schedule, post-result declaration facilities will commence from April 18, 2026. These services will be available exclusively through online mode, and students must submit their applications within the stipulated deadline. The Board has strictly stated that no requests will be accepted after the last date.

Digital Evaluation Eliminates Totalling Errors

CBSE has also mentioned that since answer sheets are digitally evaluated, there is no need for traditional totalling-related corrections. For students seeking another opportunity, the supplementary examination will be held on July 15, 2026. This will be a single-day exam covering eligible categories, including students who failed in one subject, those placed in the compartment, and even those from previous batches who still have pending attempts.

Improvement Exam for Passed Students

Additionally, students aiming for improvement after passing can also apply under the same framework, making it a key opportunity for score enhancement in one subject. The process for filling up the List of Candidates (LOC) for supplementary exams will begin from June 2, 2026.
