The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for Class XII students to apply for scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets by one day. The new last date for submission is now May 23. This decision comes after numerous students experienced technical difficulties while attempting to log into the CBSE website to submit their applications.
Technical Issues Resolved
The CBSE regional office in Chennai informed the Times of India that the technical snags were caused by a sudden surge in website traffic. While some students were able to successfully apply for their answer sheet copies, a significant number faced login problems. The extension aims to provide all affected students with an equal opportunity to apply.
Other Dates Remain Unchanged
Despite the deadline extension for applying for answer sheet copies, all other important dates remain the same. The revaluation process and verification of issues raised by students are scheduled to take place from May 26 to May 29. Students are advised to adhere to these dates and complete their applications before the new deadline.
This extension is a relief for many Class XII students who were anxious about missing the original deadline due to the technical glitches. CBSE urges all eligible students to apply promptly and avoid last-minute delays.
