Japneet, a Class XII non-medical student at Green Land School in Ludhiana, achieved a remarkable 99.8% score after a re-evaluation of his CBSE examination results. His overall tally reached 499 out of 500, with a perfect 100 in Hindustani Music Vocal, up from 97.
Re-evaluation Boosts Score
Initially scoring 99.6%, Japneet's determination led to a re-evaluation request. The process increased his marks in Hindustani Music Vocal from 97 to 100, pushing his aggregate to 499 out of 500. Out of six subjects, only five are counted toward the final score.
“I am happy with my marks,” Japneet said. He has also cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and aspires to pursue a BTech in computer science.
