NEET-UG 2025: Bhopal Traffic Police Advisory for Exam Day

The Bhopal traffic police have issued a comprehensive advisory for candidates appearing for the NEET-UG 2025 examination, scheduled to be held on Sunday from 2 pm to 5.15 pm across 32 centres in the city. Candidates are urged to reach their examination centres well in advance and plan alternate routes to avoid delays caused by ongoing Metro construction work.

Key Recommendations for Candidates

Police have advised candidates to leave home at least 30 minutes earlier than usual and to identify their examination centres beforehand to prevent last-minute confusion. The advisory specifically highlights that Metro construction has narrowed roads leading to some examination centres, necessitating the use of alternative routes.

Alternate Routes for Specific Centres

Candidates heading to Government Higher Secondary School, Anand Nagar, from areas such as TT Nagar, MP Nagar, Kolar, and Old City are advised to take the Chetak Bridge-Govindpura-BHEL-Mahatma Gandhi Square-Piplani Petrol Pump route. This is because the stretch between Prabhat Square and Piplani has become congested due to Metro work.

For those appearing at Government Geetanjali Girls PG College, Gautam Nagar, police have recommended avoiding the narrow stretch between Sindhi Colony and DIG Bungalow Square via Qazi Camp. Instead, candidates should approach the centre through Nadra Bus Stand-Agarwal Dharamshala-Chhola Ganesh Mandir-JP Bridge Trisection-DIG Bungalow Square.

Prohibitions and Requests

To ensure a disturbance-free environment for candidates, the use of loudspeakers and other sound amplification systems will be prohibited around examination centres. Motorists have also been requested not to park vehicles near the centres so that examinees can reach their destinations without inconvenience.

Public Cooperation and Helpline Numbers

The police have appealed to citizens to cooperate in maintaining smooth traffic movement. In case of any difficulty, commuters can contact the traffic helpline numbers 7049104825 and 7049104640 or send information via WhatsApp at 7587602055.
