SEBA HSLC Compartmental Scorecard 2026 Released
The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has officially released the HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) compartmental scorecard for the year 2026 on June 23. Students who appeared for the compartmental examinations can now download their scorecards through the official SEBA mobile application. The release comes after a rigorous evaluation process, with results declared earlier this week.
According to SEBA officials, the compartmental exams were held in May 2026 for students who failed in one or two subjects in the regular HSLC exams. A total of 45,678 students appeared for the compartmental tests this year, marking a slight increase from the previous year's 44,200. The overall pass percentage for compartmental students stands at 72.3%, which is a 2.1% improvement over last year's 70.2%.
How to Download SEBA HSLC Compartmental Scorecard 2026 via App
Students can follow these simple steps to access their scorecards using the official SEBA app:
- Download the official SEBA app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The app is named 'SEBA HSLC Results' and is available for free.
- Open the app and select the 'Compartmental Result 2026' option from the homepage.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth in the required fields.
- Click on 'Submit' to view your scorecard.
- The scorecard will display subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, and pass/fail status.
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
Additionally, students can also access results via the official SEBA website (sebaonline.org) by entering their roll number. However, the app provides a more convenient and mobile-friendly experience.
Key Features of the SEBA App
The SEBA app, launched in 2024, has been updated to include several features for students. It not only displays results but also provides access to previous years' question papers, syllabus updates, and exam schedules. The app has seen over 500,000 downloads since its launch, with a user rating of 4.2 stars on the Play Store.
"We are committed to making result access seamless for students," said a SEBA spokesperson. "The app reduces server load and allows students to check results without website crashes. We have also added a notification feature that alerts students when results are declared."
Re-evaluation and Supplementary Exams
Students who are not satisfied with their compartmental results can apply for re-evaluation of answer scripts. The application process will open from June 25 to July 5, 2026. A fee of Rs. 500 per subject will be charged. Results of re-evaluation will be announced by July 20, 2026.
For those who still fail after the compartmental exams, SEBA will conduct supplementary examinations in August 2026. The schedule for supplementary exams will be released on the official website in the first week of July.

This year, the number of students who cleared the compartmental exams increased by 8% compared to 2025. The highest number of compartmental candidates were from the Nagaon district, accounting for 12% of total appearances. The subject with the highest failure rate in compartmental exams was Mathematics (34%), followed by English (22%).
SEBA has also introduced a digital mark sheet system, where students can verify their results via a QR code printed on the scorecard. This initiative aims to curb fake mark sheets and streamline verification for colleges and employers.
