The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is set to release the admit card for the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2026. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment process will be able to access and download their hall tickets from the official UPPRPB website once the link becomes active.

Admit Card Release Date

According to the recruitment board, the admit card download facility will become available exactly four days before the commencement of the examination. Candidates are advised to keep their registration details ready to access the document as soon as it is released on the official portal.

How to Download the Admit Card

Once released, candidates can visit the UPPRPB website and access the admit card download link. After entering the required login credentials, they will be able to view and download the hall ticket. The admit card will contain details including the examination date, shift, reporting time, and examination centre information.

The recruitment exercise is being conducted to fill 32,679 vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. The notified vacancies include 10,469 posts in the Civil Police, 15,131 posts in the PAC/Armed Police, 1,341 posts in the Special Security Force (SSF), and 2,282 posts reserved for female constables in the Women’s Battalion. Candidates can visit the official website of the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board directly for further updates.

Examination Schedule and Pattern

The written examination will be conducted on June 8, 2026, June 9, 2026, and June 10, 2026. The test will be held in offline mode, and candidates will mark their responses on OMR sheets.

The examination will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 300 marks. Candidates will be given 120 minutes to complete the paper. Questions will be drawn from General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude, IQ and Reasoning Ability.

Key Topics for Final-Stage Revision

The General Knowledge section includes Indian History, Indian Geography, the Indian Constitution, Indian Agriculture, books and authors, important days and years, countries and capitals, inventions and discoveries, awards, social media, international topics, famous personalities and sports, including the Olympics.

General Hindi covers grammar, Indian languages, authors and literary works, awards, vocabulary, idioms, proverbs, sentence correction, and other language fundamentals. The reasoning section includes blood relations, coding-decoding, direction sense, number series and arithmetical reasoning, while Numerical Ability includes the number system, percentages, profit and loss, time and work, HCF and LCM, mensuration, discounts, and partnership.

Candidates are encouraged to focus on these topics for their final-stage revision to perform well in the examination.
