The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, a premier engineering institution in India, is set to conduct its 14th convocation ceremony on June 20. The event will celebrate the achievements of 643 graduating students from undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. The ceremony aims to honor academic excellence and reaffirm the institute's dedication to education, research, innovation, and nation-building.
Chief Guest and Distinguished Attendees
BK Goenka, Founder of Welspun World, will serve as the chief guest for the occasion. The ceremony will also feature Prof V Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, and Prof Rangan Banerjee, Director of IIT Delhi, as guests of honour. Lt Gen Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon (retd), Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT Mandi, will preside over the event.
Awards and Recognitions
Medals and awards will be presented to recognize outstanding accomplishments in academics, research, innovation, and leadership. Notably, the graduating BTech batch this year is the largest in the institute's history, marking a significant milestone.
