Union Health Minister JP Nadda delivered an inspiring address at the convocation ceremony of Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) in Bareilly on Saturday, where he distributed degrees to graduating students and emphasized their crucial role in shaping the nation's future.

Vision for Viksit Bharat by 2047

Nadda expressed strong confidence that India is on a transformative path toward becoming a developed nation, or Viksit Bharat, by 2047. He highlighted the significant progress the country has achieved in recent years across various sectors and assured the younger generation that they would witness this remarkable transformation firsthand.

"With your degrees, new doors of opportunity open before you," Nadda told the graduates. "Your hard work has brought you here, and you must contribute to society through your respective fields. The responsibility for shaping our nation's future rests with you—do not wait for change, but become the architects of it."

Educational and Healthcare Infrastructure Expansion

The minister specifically pointed to substantial advancements in India's education and healthcare systems. He noted that the number of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) has increased across the country, providing more opportunities for higher education.

Furthermore, Nadda highlighted the significant expansion of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) institutions in recent years, underscoring the government's commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and quality nationwide.

Recognition of Support Systems

During his address, Nadda also acknowledged the vital role played by parents in the students' academic achievements and personal development. He emphasized that education is a collective effort involving family support, institutional guidance, and individual determination.

Distinguished Guests in Attendance

The convocation ceremony was attended by several prominent political figures, including Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Minister Suresh Khanna, and BJP leader Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary. Their presence underscored the importance of the event in the region's educational landscape.

The ceremony served as both a celebration of academic accomplishment and a call to action for the new graduates to leverage their education for national development, aligning with the broader vision of Viksit Bharat.
