A significant gathering of 600 NCC cadets from various regions of India recently converged at the Assam Agricultural University (AAU) in Jorhat for the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat – II (EBSB) NCC Cadet Camp. This twelve-day event, which commenced on January 17 and concluded on January 28, served as a vibrant platform for fostering national unity, cultural understanding, and educational enrichment among the youth.

Diverse Participation and Camp Objectives

The camp saw enthusiastic participation from cadets hailing from the northeastern states, as well as Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Sikkim. Organised under a special initiative by the North Eastern Region Directorate, the programme was meticulously designed to achieve several key goals:
