GSHSEB Releases Hall Tickets for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has officially announced the availability of hall tickets or admit cards for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. These crucial documents became accessible for download starting Tuesday afternoon, marking a significant step in the pre-exam preparations for thousands of students across the state.

Exam Schedule and Download Portals

The board exams are scheduled to commence on February 26, 2024. For Class 10 students, hall tickets can be obtained through multiple official online portals, including ssc.gsebht.in, gsebht.in, and gseb.org. The Board has streamlined the process by categorizing access based on educational streams. Candidates from general, vocational, Sanskrit Madhyama, and basic streams should download their hall tickets from gen.gsebht.in, while science stream students are required to log in specifically to sci.gsebht.in to retrieve their documents.

Instructions for Schools and Verification Process

Schools have received clear directives from the GSHSEB regarding the distribution and verification of hall tickets. Educational institutions must download the hall tickets by logging into the designated portals using their index number along with a registered mobile number or email ID. After downloading, schools are mandated to meticulously verify all details, such as subjects and medium of instruction, against the information provided in the student's original application form to ensure accuracy.

Furthermore, schools are instructed to affix the candidate's photograph on the hall ticket and obtain signatures from the student, class teacher, and principal. The school's official stamp must be placed in a manner that partially overlaps the photograph for authentication purposes. Additionally, printed examination instructions must be provided on the reverse side of the hall ticket, with both the student and principal required to sign this section. Students must also acknowledge receipt of their hall ticket in an online distribution list maintained by the school to confirm proper delivery.

Addressing Discrepancies and Corrections

In instances where discrepancies are identified in subjects or other critical details on the hall ticket, schools have been advised to take immediate action. They should contact the concerned branch of the Board located in Gandhinagar without delay, providing all relevant documents to facilitate necessary corrections. This proactive measure aims to prevent any last-minute issues that could disrupt students' examination schedules.

The release of hall tickets underscores the Board's commitment to a smooth and organized examination process, ensuring that students are well-prepared and informed ahead of the crucial board exams.
