HURL and Dhanbad Education Department Forge Partnership to Enhance 10 Government Schools in Sindri Region
In a significant move aimed at bolstering educational infrastructure, the district education department of Dhanbad has entered into a strategic collaboration with Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL). The two entities have officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen and upgrade facilities across 10 government schools located in Sindri and its adjoining areas.

The pact was formally inked on Tuesday, with district superintendent of education Ayush Kumar representing the education department and Gautam Maji, the head of HURL's Sindri unit, signing on behalf of the corporate entity. This partnership marks a concerted effort to address critical gaps in the local educational ecosystem.
Ayush Kumar elaborated on the project's objectives, stating, "This initiative will concentrate on enhancing education-related facilities and expanding the physical infrastructure within the selected schools of the Sindri region. It is designed to tackle several deficiencies in the current educational system, thereby ensuring improved resources and a better learning environment for both students and teachers."
Project Implementation and Corporate Responsibility
Under the terms of the agreement, HURL will provide financial backing as part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) programme. This funding will be directed towards various upgrades and improvements in the identified schools. Meanwhile, the district administration will take charge of overseeing and executing the project at the ground level, ensuring that the initiatives are implemented effectively and efficiently.
