A formal case was registered based on a complaint filed by one of the victimized students. DCP West SM Qasim Abdi provided details, stating, "Police have arrested three faculty members on Thursday. A dispute occurred between students and faculty at the college, in which some faculty members assaulted students. After this, students staged a protest. On receiving information, police reached the spot and controlled the situation."
He further explained, "A case was registered under relevant sections based on the complaint of the victim students. Three faculty members have been arrested in the matter and further legal proceedings are underway." The police have indicated that the role of other potential accused individuals is currently under investigation to ensure a comprehensive inquiry into the matter.
