The phased approach aims to ensure that all stakeholders, including teachers, students, and parents, are adequately prepared for the transition. The department also plans to conduct awareness campaigns to explain the benefits of the new policy.

The announcement has been welcomed by educational experts who believe that a gradual implementation will allow for smoother adaptation. However, they also stressed the need for adequate funding and political will to achieve the policy's objectives.
