In a significant educational initiative, live streaming of the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha in Kamrup (Metro) district schools has provided students, teachers, and parents with a powerful platform to reimagine examinations. This interactive program, spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to transform stress management and academic challenges into a celebration of learning.
Massive Participation in Kamrup Metro District
The live stream event, screened across 558 schools in the Kamrup (Metro) district, witnessed remarkable engagement. Official data reveals that 49,502 students and 4,911 teachers actively participated in the session. This widespread involvement underscores the program's growing popularity and impact on the educational community.
Registration for the event was conducted through the dedicated Pariksha Pe Charcha portal, attracting 1.2 lakh students and 10,000 teachers from various educational institutions, including those in Guwahati city areas. The high registration numbers highlight the keen interest among stakeholders to benefit from the Prime Minister's insights on exam preparation and mental well-being.
Comprehensive Pre-Event Activities and District Engagement
According to Kamrup (Metro) Inspector of Schools, Dipika Choudhury, the registration process was successfully executed across all ME, secondary, and senior secondary schools in the district. Following registration, schools organized a series of engaging activities to build momentum for the main event.
"Pariksha Pe Charcha registration was successfully carried out in all ME, secondary and senior secondary schools in Kamrup Metro," Choudhury stated. "After the registration, different activities like rallies, nukad natak, and processions were held in the schools to foster a positive environment around examinations."
Additionally, a district-level quiz competition was organized by KV Khanapara, further enriching the preparatory phase and encouraging collaborative learning among students.
Pariksha Pe Charcha: A National Platform for Exam Confidence
Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a favorite initiative among students nationwide, encouraging them to approach examinations with confidence and view them as an 'utsav' or festival. The program's interactive format allows direct engagement between the Prime Minister and participants, addressing concerns related to exam stress, time management, and holistic development.
The ninth edition, held on Friday, featured PM Modi interacting with students, teachers, and parents from across the country. This edition continues the legacy of transforming the perception of exams from a source of anxiety to an opportunity for growth and celebration.
By leveraging technology through live streaming, the initiative ensures accessibility and inclusivity, enabling remote and rural schools to participate actively. The success in Kamrup Metro serves as a model for other districts, demonstrating how digital tools can enhance educational outreach and student motivation.
